Work With Us

The Process

Consultation / Booking

Every event starts with a consultation. Goals will be discussed, along with packages, timelines, and special requests. Once everything is tailored to your needs, we’ll confirm with a straightforward booking agreement to secure your date.

Pre-Event and Shot list

Great event photography is intentional. Before your date, I work with you or your planner to create a tailored shot list—corporate moments like speakers and networking, or private highlights like décor, portraits, and dance floors. For NYC venues, I also scout lighting, backgrounds, and timing to prepare.

Event Day Coverage

On the final day, I arrive early to prepare and work discreetly while capturing both major highlights and candid interactions. New York City event photography moves very quickly, with lighting shifting from ballrooms to rooftops. With professional gear and experience, I adapt seamlessly to ensure every important moment is beautifully documented.

 Post Production

After your event, each image is carefully reviewed for color, lighting, and composition. My style is clean and timeless, preserving the true atmosphere without trendy filters. Corporate clients often request highlight photos within 24–48 hours for press or internal use, and I’m always happy to deliver quickly.

Why this matters

Your full gallery is delivered digitally through a private, password-protected platform. From there, you can download images in high resolution for print or web-optimized versions for social media. If needed, I can also create curated collections for press kits, marketing campaigns, or personal albums. My goal is to make your event images not just something you look at once, but something you use again and again to extend the impact.

 Final Deliverables

Professional event photography preserves moments that would otherwise be forgotten. High-quality images capture the energy, people, and details of your NYC event, creating lasting memories and valuable marketing assets. Investing in an experienced NYC event photographer ensures your story is told clearly, beautifully, and ready to share.

Joe's strangely good at everything. He'll photograph your event and then the next day end up at a shoot for Maxim Magazine. Originally we hired him for a corporate function photographer but since have used him for headshots. We've used his images countless times ands in so many different marketing scenarios.

“I’m in marketing and cannot express strongly enough how vital images are to a company’s image and brand reputation. The photos that Joe delivers offer both of those in spades. And his flexibility is amazing. We had so many last minute changes and he just rolled right along with them.”

Working with Joe Jenkins was great! From when I first reached out to when he delivered the photos, he was very nice and quick to respond. We hired him for a company 35th Anniversary Party and couldn't be happier with the photos! I asked for some detail shots, candids, and posed photos, and he delivered just that (and with a quick turnaround too)! I would definitely recommend Joe. - Daniel Demarco Associates
