Portrait Session: Lottie Cunningham Wren

This session for Lottie Cunningham Wren, recipient of the 2020 Right Livelihood Award, took place at the Swedish Residence in New York. Located at 600 Park Avenue, the historic residence provided a formal setting for a series of professional portraits intended for international press and legal advocacy.

The Session: 

As a prominent nyc headshot photographer, the objective was to produce a gallery  that reflected Cunningham Wren’s stature as an international human rights lawyer and indigenous leader. By utilizing the architectural character of the Park Avenue residence, the portraits maintain a balance between professional authority and the personal nature of her advocacy work.

The Process: 

Using a portable lighting configuration, the shoot was tailored to the specific interior lighting of the residence. The final images serve as the primary visual assets for Cunningham Wren's commemorative events and global communications regarding indigenous land rights.
