Meet Magento NYC 2023: Capturing the Pulse of E-Commerce at New World Stages

When the organizers of Meet Magento NYC transitioned their premier summit to a multi-day format at New World Stages, the scale of the production required an experienced hand for their event. For a project with this many moving parts, Magento wanted an  event photographer local to New York City capable of navigating the complex theatrical lighting of a Hell’s Kitchen venue while maintaining the demanding pace of a global tech conference.

Capturing an event of this magnitude requires an intuitive understanding of the Magento community’s energy and the strategic importance of its networking cycles. The objective for the two day shoot was to produce a definitive account of the exchange of ideas, occurring both onstage and in breakouts —spanning from the both attendees and staff alike. By delivering a caliber of conference photography that mirrored the innovation of the developers and executives in attendance, the resulting gallery stands as a powerful asset for the brand’s ongoing global narrative.
